Ergonomic form
Soft rims of bells permit the close adherence of the instrument to the patient's body and the ergonomic form of the external surfaces of the bell facilitates the holding of the head during the auscultation through the diaphragm. All heads of Insigne™ stethoscopes are equipped with diaphragms manufactured from epoxy-fiberglass. Their characteristics includes high sensitivity of sound reception with the highest resistance to temperature, chemical factors and mechanical impairments. | | | | | Individual number The head of each stethoscope carries an individual factory number. Such a number is also included in the individual guarantee card and identifies the owner of the instrument. In that way, it constitutes an adequate protection against accidental exchange and theft. If requested, the factory number may be repeated on the bottom surface of the IP ring. | | | | | Extra-Soft Eartips The extra-soft eartips automatically adjust themselves to the shape of the physician’s external acoustic ear canal and guarantee the full acoustic seal of the instrument. The perfect smoothness of the eartips surface makes them very hygienic and do not cause ear irritations. Eartips are fixed on headframe tubes in a specific manner with use of metallic threads which prevents accidental removal. | | | | | Double leaf spring of headframe Manufactured from spring stainless steel. It provides a constant pressure on external acoustic ear canal and facilitates the regulation of the intensity of such pressure. A unique location of the spring inside the tubing and outside the acoustic channel prevents the disturbance of the sound transmission. The construction of the spring and the special material used guarantee their indestructibility in normal conditions. | | | | | IP replaceable rings Replaceable personalizing-identifying IP rings, located on the upper side of the diaphragm cup, chosen by the Purchaser from an unlimited number of designs, that influence the final look of the stethoscope’s head and create unrestricted product personalisation. The IP rings are manufactured from one or a combination of materials and are adaptable to any inscriptions, according to the Purchaser’s wish. Inscriptions on IP rings may be inscribed via the use of different techniques – the optimal one remains, however, the laser technique. Head with thicker walls for good isolation from external noise, equipped with a deep, parabolic bell with soft, silicon rim. Includes a revolving switch. Headframe tubes with soft eartips manufactured from PVC automatically adjusting their shape to the shape of the ear, connected by a double leaf spring manufactured from spring stainless steel located in the channel of PVC tubing separated from the acoustic channels. Connected with the head by monolithic two-channel PVC antistatic tubing.
